A MIND BODY MEDICINE APPROACH TO POSTTRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER
A workshop and presentation on Mind Body Medicine Techniques will be offered:

Description: The presentation and the experiential workshop will focus on the interactions between mind and body and the powerful ways in which you can use meditation, guided imagery, biofeedback, words and group support to help you as a provider and your patients/clients. The presenter will offer an overview of Healing the Wounds of War Successes including: Bosnia, Macedonia, Kosovo, Israel, Gaza, and within the United States the Healing our Troops Program in addressing and managing anxiety, depression and post-conflict PTSD.
The Presenter: Gjorgji Nikoloski, MD is a psychiatrist from Ex-Yugoslavia. 
During the war he worked with International Red Cross and many other international organizations in Macedonia. In spring of 1999 when Macedonia was flooded with over 200.000 Albanian refugees from Kosovo, he met with Dr. Jim Gordon and set up collaboration between Mind Body Center from Washington D.C. and his local NGO, Center for Psychosocial Support and Mental Health Care, Skopje-Macedonia, established in 1998. In 2001 he was working for Doctors of the World from New York as mental health expert on project of Deinstitutionalization of Orphan Children from Psychiatric hospital in Kosovo and building up community centers for both Albanians and Serbians. At that time he started organizing workshop for medical doctors in Kosovo and became one of the permanent CMBM faculty members. Currently, Dr. Nikoloski lives in Guelph, Canada, where he is a Community Mental Health Clinician and an active CMBM Faculty. Contact email: gnikoloski@hotmail.com
